Day 5: Florence
Free half day in Florence 
On this half-day excursion, we travel to Siena, a longtime rival of nearby Florence offering some of Italy’s finest art and architecture. We'll ake a guided tour of this unique, enchanting city with a visit to the Duomo and the Piccolomini Library, and then walk together along medieval streets to St. Dominique’s Church and the Piazza del Campo. Later, we'll enjoy free time for lunch before returning to Florence.

Travel to Pompeii  
Gain unparalleled insight into the lives of the ancient Roman elite on this excursion. Buried in volcanic ash in 79 A.D., the former resort town of Pompeii is now fully excavated and, uniquely preserved as it was, one of the world’s richest archaeological sites. 
Continue on to the Sorrento region 
Day 10: Capri • Rome
Travel by ferry to Capri 
Tour of Capri : professional guide
Take an island cruise 
Return to Rome 
Day 11: Depart for home :-(
